Rab set out to create a long-form documentary as part of their athlete initiative. I produced a story following Leonardo Brasil and myself as we traversed by bike from La Paz, Bolivia to Cusco, Peru, crossing some of the world’s most extreme and varied geographical terrain.
Along the route, the story highlights the rich history and cultural depth of the Andean region, while documenting the realities of travel through remote environments.
The goal was to produce a documentary that could live beyond traditional campaign cycles, driving deeper audience engagement while reinforcing Rab’s positioning within the global outdoor community.
RESULTS
The film was designed for long-form viewing on YouTube and digital platforms, with an emphasis on retention, watch time, and sustained audience engagement rather than short-term reach. It went on to screen at multiple film festivals worldwide, resulting in a presentation at the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival.
