Airbnb’s Policy Media Team commissioned a campaign to highlight a diverse set of hosts across Colorado, spanning mountain towns, ski communities, and urban environments.

The project focused on up to three distinct host stories, each representing different lifestyles, locations, and perspectives within the Airbnb ecosystem.

The objective was to produce a scalable set of narrative-driven digital ads that could perform across multiple placements, while reinforcing Airbnb’s brand values around inclusivity, local culture, and belonging.

Overview

The campaign was approached as a multi-story narrative system rather than a single production. Each host story was developed with its own tone and environment, while maintaining a cohesive visual and narrative language across the campaign. Production required a highly agile workflow - moving quickly between locations across Colorado while maintaining consistency in lighting, sound, and storytelling quality. Collaboration with Airbnb’s internal production team ensured alignment on messaging, tone, and delivery requirements, while allowing flexibility to adapt to changing timelines and production needs.
